General Acceptance

A Shipment will be accepted from an individual shipper or agent provided that an Airway Bill is issued against the particular shipment followed by the completion of all government and handling formalities. The shipper or his agent should produce necessary instruction for the transportation of goods through a Shipper's Instructions for Dispatch (SID form).

The agent or shipper must ensure that goods are handed over to Island Aviation Cargo Services Department well ahead of time to enable completion of all documentation, handling, and loading as well as other government or carrier's formalities.

Shipments from Airlines/Cargo Sales Agents will be accepted upon providing specific information in writing. These information in draft format is available in “PDF” format at DOWNLOADS PAGE.

Cut Off Time

General Cargo - 06hrs before flight Departure
Perishable (Fresh Fish) - 03hrs before flight Departure
Live Animals / Dip Mail - 2hrs 30mins before flight Departure

The cut-off time given above means cargo packing and payments must be completed before the above referred cut-off time.
