Maldivian introduces online reservation system

Island Aviation Services (IAS) has revealed that the company has introduced online booking or online reservations.

According to IAS, the online bookings and electronic ticketing system was introduced as part of the airlines efforts to widen and expand the services provided to customers travelling on Maldivian flights.

The online ticketing and reservation service introduced is a convenient service conforming to International Airline Transport Association Services (IATA) standards and can be accessed via the internet. The customers can make their bookings and purchase an e ticket from the comfort of their own homes, the Airline said. The Airline further informed that all major credit cards will be accepted.

IAS initially commenced operations on domestic routes. However last year the airline went regional and commenced flights to Trivandrum, India and is now expected to start operations to Colombo, Sri Lanka on Friday.
