Increasing of all domestic fares eff 15th July 2010
All domestic fares will be increased MVR 50/- per flight sector from Thursday, 15th July 2010. Therefore, all tickets issued effective Thursday, 15th July 2010 onwards for travel will be issued more MVR 50/- per sector.

Maldivian operates first stretcher flight on Dash8 300
Effective 30th June 2010, medical stretchers can be carried in both Dornier 228 aircraft as well as the Dash8 300 (8Q IAP) aircraft. Therefore, medical stretchers can now be accommodated to Trivandrum, India on Maldivian as well on the approved Dash8 300.
The very first stretcher on 8Q IAP was carried from Kaadedhdhoo to Male' on 30th June 2010.

RAF veterans reunion at former RAF base - GAN island, Addu Atoll
A special group of 49 RAF veterans arrived on 22nd March for a re-union at the former RAF base - GAN island, Addu Atoll. The trip was organised by Cosmos Holidays and all passengers were transferred to GAN on Maldivian flight Q2 104.
A special quick event was held at Male' International Airport to receive the passengers and a grand ceremony was held at GAN to welcome the ex-servicemen.
Transfer of 123 special guests of Robinson Club Maldives
A special group of 123 guests of Robinson Club Maldives was transferred to Kaadedhdhoo Domestic Airport on the 14th March on Maldivian within 02hours after their arrival from Emirates and Condor. The passengers were transferred on Q2500, Q2520 and Q2524.
